Thursday morning forecast – Jan. 30th

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - We'll see another day of above-average temperatures on Thursday, with highs in the low to mid-70s expected across the Central and South Coasts. We'll also see more wind on Thursday, though it should be calmer than it was on Wednesday. Gusts could reach 60 mph in the mountains Thursday morning and 45 mph in coastal areas.

Tomorrow, winds will calm a bit more and shift direction, setting the stage for a moderate Santa Ana wind event in Ventura County. Temperatures will warm once again to about 10 degrees above average. Saturday could be the warmest day of the week.

On Sunday, we'll see a pattern change as temperatures cool about 10 degrees. There is a slight chance for light rain, mostly for mountain areas in Ventura County. Most of us, however, should stay dry. Temperatures will cool again on Monday to below-average levels for this time of year.
