Wednesday evening forecast – Jan. 22nd

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - We are seeing a mostly clear evening on Wednesday, with low temperatures dipping into the low-40s for inland and valley areas and into the upper-40s for the Santa Barbara South Coast.

High pressure building over our area will bring us relatively quiet weather late this week. We'll see some clouds in the morning before mostly clear conditions in the afternoon. Temperatures will warm to above average levels, with highs in the mid-70s expected along the South Coast Thursday and Friday. The Santa Ynez Valley will see highs in the low-70s and the Central Coast will see highs in the upper-60s.

On Sunday the ridge of high pressure will move east and a slight chance of showers arrives. There is a better chance for rain north of Pt. Conception, but we expect any rain we see to be light and rain totals to be minimal.
