Monday evening forecast – Jan. 20th

Conditions will be much cooler with a slight chance of light showers across the region through Tuesday. Dry and warmer weather will return on Wednesday for the remainder of the week then there is another slight chance of rain on Sunday.

Monday was mostly cloudy with cool temperatures and even some light showers/sprinkles.  Highs were chilly primarily in the upper 50s to low 60s. Overnight temperatures will be chilly in the low to mid 40s.  Late Monday night we do still have a chance of seeing some light showers pass through. Amounts will be very small though expecting just a couple hundreaths of an inch.

Tuesday still a small chance of precipitation. The tail end of a weak system may bring the threat of light rain to San Luis Obispo County Tuesday.  Tuesday we are expecting a good amount of cloud cover and highs just below average primarily in the low 60s.

Then a ridge will build Wednesday and Thursday, bringing temperatures back up to average and even above average.  Expect more sunshine with temperatures in the mid 60s Wednesday and even up to 70 on Thursday.

Friday through Saturday we expect the forecast to stay quiet with mild warmer than average temperatures.  On Sunday we have another chance of rain popping in, but amounts for now look very light.
