Wednesday evening forecast- Jan. 1st

The first day of 2020 we enjoyed clear to partly cloudy skies and high temperatures just a tad above average primarily in the mid to upper 60s.  Tonight lows will be chilly in the mid 30s to mid 40s.

Thursday will be very similar to Wednesday with partly cloudy to mostly clear conditions and highs primarily in the mid to upper 60s.  It will be another bright and breezy day along the Santa Barbara South Coast where a wind advisory is in effect until 3PM Thursday.  The north winds will be strong in the Santa Barbara and Ventura County mountains where a High WInd Warning will continue until Thursday at noon.

A ridge of high pressure is building in the area and will continue to bring us fair skies and seasonable temperatures through the weekend.

Its next Wednesday before another trough dips down our way with a potential for light rain showing up in the 10-day extended forecast.
