Ventura surfer wins gold at World Juniors

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Ventura surfer Dimitri Poulos captured gold in the boys 18-u division which helped Team USA reclaim the overall gold medal at the 2019 VISSLA ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Huntington Beach.

Poulos was a late replacement but he delivered the win.

The 17-year old takes classes at Ventura College.
