SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Fresh off of winning a CIF-Central Division 2 boys basketball title, Mission Prep continued their winning ways to begin the CIF-State Tournament in Division 3.

The Royals defeated Venice 70-64 to advance to the second round where they will host San Gabriel Academy on Thursday.

The Royals are 26-7 on the season.
