Bishop Diego alum Jack Luckhurst was named Second Team All-Decade by Cal-Hi Sports

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Jack Luckhurst is in rare company.

Cal-Hi Sports named the punter/kicker 2nd Team All-Decade in football as Luckhurst is believed to be just the third player from the Santa Barbara area to receive such an honor.

Ernie Zampese of Santa Barbara High School was a member of the 1950's All-Decade Team while Sam Cunningham was All-Decade in the 1960's.

Luckhurst is a 2019 Bishop Diego High School and will enter his redshirt freshman season at Arizona State.

Cal-Hi Sports All-Decade Team does not take into account school size or division as all players that played in the decade in California are eligible so this is quite an honor for Luckhurst.

Here are some of Jack Luckhurst's accomplishments while at Bishop Diego:

Football

2018 Cal-Hi Sports Medium Schools All-State Team

2017 Maxpreps Junior All-American 1st Team

2017 Cal-Hi Sports Medium Schools 1st Team All-State
