Salute to Seniors: Dunn soccer star Alpha Sowe will play in college

LOS OLIVOS, Calif. - Alpha Sowe made the most of his opportunity and he will now continue his soccer journey in college.

The Dunn High School soccer star will play at Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Sowe scored 58 career goals along with 51 assists as he helped the Earwigs win 2 CIF-SS soccer championships.

This season Dunn went 20-0 and won the CIF-SS D6 title.

The midfielder came to America from Sierra Leone by way of the Craig Bellamy Foundation.

The program helps underprivileged children the chance to reach their potential through sports and education.
