Former Gaucho J.D. Slajchert talks about his latest novel Darling, You're Not Alone

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - 2018 UCSB graduate J.D. Slajchert made a recent visit to Santa Barbara to talk about his second novel, Darling, You're Not Alone.

He also talked about his UCSB basketball days that saw him go from a walk-on to a starter for the Gauchos.

He was on UCSB from 2014-2018 and had quite a rollercoaster ride.

In the 2016-'17 season the Gauchos set a dubious mark of lowest win total in school history with 6 victories.

The next season UCSB set a program record with 23 victories.

Slajchert's first book was titled Moonflower.
