Dons volleyball wins in 4 at DP to set up rematch vs San Marcos

GOLETA, Calif. (KEYT) -Hayes Costner had a match-high 23 kills to lead Santa Barbara to a four-set win at Dos Pueblos (25-14, 26-24, 16-25, 25-21).

The Dons improve to 8-1 in the Channel League, one game back of first place San Marcos. The two rivals meet again on Tuesday in the Thunderhut in the regular season league finale.

Dons star setter Maddox Denver had 45 assists with 9 kills and finished off the match with two booming aces.

DP was led by Ben Wojogbe who had 10 kills, 7 digs and 4 aces.

San Marcos 3, Ventura 0: The Royals improved to 24-2 on the season and 9-0 in the Channel League. They won all three sets by identical 25-11 scores. Kalae Anderson had 10 kills for San Marcos.
