Person Transported With Significant Burns After Eagle Street House Fire Monday Morning

SANTA MARIA, Calif. (KEYT) – One person was transported with significant injuries after a fire at a home in the 1500 block of Eagle Street Monday morning.

According to the Fire Marshal, one person had significant burns at the scene and was taken to a local hospital for immediate medical aid.

The injured person will eventually need to be transported out of the area for specialized medical treatment added the Fire Marshal.

A resident from the home shared with Your News Channel that he was able to exit the second-story of the home where he rents a room.

The emergency response included fire crews from both Santa Maria City Fire Department and the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
