Fire crews responded to small vegetation fire along Harris Grade Road started by PG&E infrastructure

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. – Fire crews put out a 1.8-acre vegetation fire along Harris Grade Road one mile south of Highway 135 caused by energy infrastructure.

The fire was fully contained around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning and crews were initially called to the scene at 9:37 p.m. Tuesday explained the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the cause of the fire was related to energy infrastructure operated by Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).

Forward progress of the flames was halted around 11:36 p.m. shared Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
