Falcon 9 launch scheduled from Vandenberg Space Force Base Monday night
VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. – SpaceX has a rocket launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base currently planned for Monday, Apr. 1, at 7:30 p.m. with backup options until 11:30 p.m.
Additional backup opportunities were announced for Tuesday, Apr. 2 starting at 7:30 p.m. (PST)
A live webcast of the launch will begin five minutes before liftoff on SpaceX's X (formerly known as Twitter) account.
Thursday's mission will carry 22 Starlink satellites destined for low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 4 East.
After first stage separation, the Falcon 9 booster will return to land on the Of Course I Still Love You drone ship awaiting in the Pacific Ocean.
This will be the 15th flight for the Falcon 9 booster on this mission which previously launched: NROL-87, NROL-85, SARah-1, SWOT, Transporter-8, Transporter-9, and eight Starlink missions.
