Underage passenger hospitalized in critical condition following collision Tuesday morning

SANTA MARIA, Calif. – Santa Maria Police Department (SMPD) Officers reported to a traffic collision at the intersection of Donovan and Pepperwood on Tuesday where a juvenile passenger was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

SMPD Officers detail that officers arrived at the scene of the crash around 5:30 a.m. where they discovered a vehicle with significant damage, occupied by a juvenile passenger with injuries that required medical transport.

The SMPD is requesting that anyone with information about the collision or that have a camera facing the intersection of Donovan and Pepperwood call Officer D. Rhoades at 805-928-3781 ext. 1355.
