Minuteman III missile launched from Vandenberg overnight
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - After a weather delay on Wednesday the Air Force launched a successful test of a Minuteman III missile Thursday morning.
The 12:30 a.m. launch was a test of the United States defense system. The unarmed intercontinental ballistic missile was fired from a silo at Vandenberg Air Force Base.
