2.3 magnitude earthquake shakes a few awake in Orcutt

ORCUTT, Calif.- According to the U.S. geological Survey, a 2.3 magnitude earthquake hit the Orcutt area a little after 5 a.m. Friday.

There have been no reports of damage. Our newsroom received only a couple messages asking 'was that an earthquake?'

It was, but a very small one.
