Deputies Ask Public for Help Investigating Monday Morning Robbery at Goleta Target

GOLETA, Calif. (KEYT) – Deputies are on the lookout for a man who took two iPads after trying to buy them using a stolen credit card at the Hollister Avenue Target in Goleta Monday morning.

The robbery suspect is described as a black man in his early 20's who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with sparkles and blue sweatpants during the robbery shared the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.

If you see him, do not approach as he indicated he was armed during the robbery, contact 911 immediately noted the local law enforcement agency.

On Monday, July 27, around 9:52 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the Target on Hollister Avenue for a reported robbery that had just happened stated a press release Monday from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies learned that a man attempted to purchase two iPads using a stolen credit card and when the transaction was declined, he forcibly took the two iPads and made statements that he was armed with a firearm explained the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.
