Santa Barbara drive-by birthday parade held for woman turning 95
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - It's not every day people get invited to a 95-year-old's birthday party, let alone a parade.
But with concerns over the coronavirus, a parade took place and it put a smile on the face of Margaret Valenzuela.
The sixth generation Santa Barbara native waved as her friends and family honked their horns and drove by.
Dora Fletcher, her best friend since they were 13, stopped for a photo.
Deborah Versola shared cell phone video of the celebration and said her mother credit's her longevity to faith and family.
