Morro Bay Fire Department receives donation for cardiac defibrillators, scholarships

MORRO BAY, Calif. -Morro Bay Fire Department received a $24,057 donation during the city council meeting on Tuesday.

The "Friends of the Morro Bay Fire Department" donated the money to cover the costs of buying cardiac defibrillators.

It will also pay for scholarships for reserve firefighters who are attending the fire academy and paramedic school.
