Santa Barbara County in need of poll workers ahead of primary

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Santa Barbara County is looking to hire 26 more poll workers for the upcoming California primary election.

Being a poll worker is a paid position and workers will receive a stipend of $180-240 for election day and for training.

To get one of the positions you have to be a registered voter yourself — and attend one training course.

Anyone interested must be available on March 3 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
