A damp and dreary Tuesday morning

It will be a damp and dreary Tuesday. The marine layer is so dense that light drizzle will impact the beaches for the first few hours of the morning. By the middle of the day, the clouds will begin to thin out but total clearing will not occur until the evening. Highs for the day climb back into the middle 60s in Santa Barbara while inland areas can expect 80s.

Wednesday morning will be wet and windy. The marine layer produces more mist and visibility will be a concern. Clouds clear by the evening and temperatures warm into the 60s and low 70s. The marine layer builds in overnight producing more drizzle.

We will wake up to fog and clouds Thursday morning with another round of drizzle, so grab a jacket as you head out the door. Luckily, we can expect a faster clearing trend and more sunshine by the middle of the day. Due to faster clearing and more sunshine, Thursday and Friday will be two of the warmest days of the week. The weekend will be mild with a mixture of sun and clouds. The extended forecast appears bright, dry and warmer!
