School supply drive to help Unity Shoppe is now underway at many fire stations

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A Unity Shoppe school supply drive is now underway at the South Coast fire stations for both the Santa Barbara City and Santa Barbara County fire departments.

Drop off boxes are in place at the entrance to the stations.

The Unity Shoppe says it is helping those in need throughout the year, and with this drive it is getting set to make sure students from limited income families have the supplies to begin the next round of instruction. In many cases that will be next month.

The list of supplies that are being requested include, binders, notepads, pencils, pens, rulers, scissors, art supplies and crayons.

The collection drive goes until the end of the month.
