Record attendance on first day in Oxnard Union High School District

OXNARD, Calif. - It appears students couldn't wait to return to in-person learning in the Oxnard Union High School District.

Senerey de Los Santos, the School District's Communication Specialist, said 96 percent of the enrolled students attended the eleven schools in the district on Wednesday.

That's the highest first day attendance the district has seen in a decade.

There are 11 schools in the Oxnard Union High School District with thousands of students enrolled.
