Officials seize over a million dollars worth of illegal cannabis and products in Lompoc

Cebada Canyon Marijuana Seizure

LOMPOC, Calif. - Law enforcement seized over $1 million worth of cannabis and cannabis-related products in Lompoc Monday.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office Special Investigation Bureau, Cannabis Compliance Team, assistance from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's Office served multiple search warrants in Santa Barbara County and Los Angeles County.

After an extensive investigation into a commercial cannabis cultivation business on 102-acre parcel on Cebada Canyon Road in Lompoc, search warrants were authored.

Officers seize over $1 million worth of cannabis and cannabis related products.

The warrants served in Los Angeles County yielded evidence that is part of the ongoing investigation.

Eli Sheiman and Mariette Wingard were initially charged with illegal cultivation of marijuana, falsifying public records/document and conspiracy.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
