Paso Robles bank robbed for second time in 2 months
PASO ROBLES, Calif. - Paso Robles police are investigating an armed bank robbery at a bank that was robbed just two months ago.
Police say the Pacific Premier Bank on 12th street in Downtown Paso Robles was robbed around 9:20 a.m. Friday.
Employees say two men who were wearing masks entered the bank holding handguns and demanded money.
Police say the men then left the bank and drove away in a Gold Honda.
A CHP helicopter helped locate the suspect vehicle in the 1800 block of Oak Street. Police later identified a second vehicle of interest, but they're asking the public's help finding that vehicle, which appears to be a white pickup truck.
No one was hurt during the bank robbery.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Paso Robles Police Department at (805) 227-6464.
It is unclear whether the two bank robberies are related.
The same bank was robbed on September 23. In that case, police said a man went into the bank, showed a teller that he had a revolver, and demanded money. He ultimately got away with a small bag of cash. No arrests have been made in that case.
