CENTRAL COAST, Calif. – The 5th annual News Channel Day of Service Blood Drive is set for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 16, 2023, at three locations on the Central Coast.

News Channel 3-12 is proud to once again partner with Vitalant to host the blood drive in honor of MLK Day.

Donations can be made by appointment at each of the following locations from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on January 16:

Click the links above or call 877-25-VITAL to make an appointment to donate blood.

As seen on the Vitalant website:

King's commitment to social justice, equality, and service is why we continue to recognize his humanitarian impact on this day.

Patients depend on blood donors to give. Start the year off by making an appointment and making an impact in our community. Your support is critical for patients who are struggling with chronic blood disorders, cancer, and traumatic injuries.
