Pacific Pride Foundation encourages Santa Barbara businesses to decorate windows for Pride Month

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Pacific Pride Foundation is partnering with several local businesses to celebrate Pride Month this year.

Businesses such as Jake & Jones on East Canon Perdido are encouraged to decorate their store windows in honor of Pride Month.

Companies that participate may even win a prize.

The Pride Foundation is hosting the window decorating contest as part of their Summer of Pride 2021 event which aims to create Pride all summer long.

Other local brands that are offering special Pride-themed products or classes with the Pride Foundation include Deckers Brand, Hook & Press Donuts, Corepower Yoga, SeaVees & McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams and more.

The foundation hopes its events can raise more awareness and create a vibrant, safespace for the LGBTQ+ community in Santa Barbara.
