Loud Flower Art Co. expresses mental health through designs

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Loud Flower Art Co. brings humor, warmth, and belonging into this world through their designs.

Loud Flower advocates for mental health awareness by reminding people that it’s okay to have big feelings.

Owner and creator, Madi Manson wants people to always feel invited, whether it is through the community events that she has at her store or through her designs.

Most designs are phrase-driven. Other are inspired by a podcast or Madi's own experiences.

The creation of Loud Flower was rooted from the pandemic, when Madi felt isolated and was struggling with her mental health.

Her husband, Ben Bishop, was one that supported her through her journey at Loud Flower.

Overtime, she noticed designs that expressed mental health were the ones that people reacted to.

“I guess I chose mental health to be the focus of the designs,” Madi said. “When I saw that those were the designs that were connecting with the most people and that those were the conversations that I enjoyed having the most.”

Madi now holds different community events to bring people together to express their feelings at Loud Flower.
