Cal Poly football selects Beau Baldwin as new head coach
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- Cal Poly has called a press conference for Wednesday, December 11 to introduce Beau Baldwin as their next head football coach.
FootballScoop.com first reported the news and was confirmed by ESPN.
Baldwin has spent the past three seasons as offensive coordinator at California.
Before that Baldwin was a highly successful head coach at Eastern Washington in the Big Sky Conference. He won five conference titles in nine seasons including an FCS National Championship in 2010.
Cal Poly also plays in the Big Sky.
Tim Walsh retired last month after 11 seasons as head coach of the Mustangs.
