SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) -

Girls Athlete of the Week: Piper Kittle, San Marcos Flag Football: The sophomore combined for 23 catches and two touchdowns as the Royals won two crucial games over Ventura to make the CIF-SS playoffs. In the second victory over Ventura, Kittle hauled in 17 catches with a touchdown and also had an interception in the 13-12 nail-biter.

Boys Athlete of the Week: Everett Rabb-Preston, Santa Barbara Football: The junior running back rushed for 137 yards with one touchdown on the ground and he caught two touchdown passes in the Dons 37-0 win over Rio Mesa.

Girls Athlete of the Week: Leighton Casey: Santa Ynez Flag Football: Casey had a game-winning pick-six to beat San Luis Obispo.

Boys Athlete of the Week: Kellon Gandolfo, Santa Ynez Football: He rushed for 134 yards with 3 touchdowns in a 36-32 Pirates win over Cabrillo
