Tracking Advisory level heat Monday

Happy Monday! We start the morning with c lear skies for areas south of Point Conception and clouds for northern communities. Mostly sunny skies prevail for all areas before lunch. Highs rise quickly, many places rise into the 80s 90s and triple digits. Heat Alerts are in place and it is advised to seek cooling shelters and take breaks when working outside. Beach Hazard Statements are in place Tuesday through Thursday. Large waves and high tides may impact your beach plans. Minimal overnight relief. Check on those at risk.

We hold with the heat throughout the week. All heat alerts are set through Thursday night. We begin a small cooling trend by the weekend, but even with some clouds and onshorw flow, it'll still be quite warm.
