Tracking a warm Wednesday, rain chances possible for Labor Day weekend

We begin Wednesday morning with a Wind Advisory though 6am for the Gaviota corridor. This means marine layer influence will be similar to days past with just a few hours of clouds over the waters and more dense marine layer impacts to the north. Highs rise into the 70s and 80s for all.

Rinse and repeat weather Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will only ebb and flow a few degrees or so. Marine layer influence will be tricky each morning but a quick clearing pattern occurs for most. Winds will be breezy by the afternoon, some Wind Advisories may be needed.

The real weather pattern shift begins this holiday weekend. A hurricane has formed off Mexicos coastline, Hurricane Marie. The track of this path will be very influential for our weekend weather. Rain chances have increased again and are now sitting around 30-60% chance for most of Southern California. Rain amounts and timing will be tricky, but for now it appears that amounts will be rather light and intermittent showers are likely. There is still a possibility the storm swings far west bringing no rain to the area. High Surf and coastal flooding impacts are likely no matter where the storm moves.
