Falcon 9 Launch of Starlink Satellites Scheduled For Early Wednesday Morning

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. (KEYT) – A Falcon 9 launch of 27 Starlink satellites destined for a low-Earth orbit is scheduled for launch on Wednesday, Sep. 2, between 12:46 a.m. and 4:46 a.m. Pacific Time.

A live webcast of the launch will begin about ten minutes before liftoff. You can tune in to watch here or on SpaceX's X/Twitter account.

Following first stage separation, the booster assigned to this mission will return to Earth to land on the Of Course I Still Love You droneship awaiting in the Pacific Ocean.

There is the potential for one or more sonic booms to be heard across the region during the launch process, but how far the sound travels will depend on weather and other conditions at launch time.

This will be the 35th flight for the Falcon 9 assigned to this launch. The same booster previously launched the following missions: Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, DART, Transporter-7, Iridium OneWeb, SDA-0B, NROL-113, NROL-167, NROL-149, NAOS, and 24 prior Starlink missions.
