Tracking marine clouds and cooler weather this weekend

We begin the morning with overcast skies and cool morning temperatures. Marine clouds will fill the skies through lunch before a clearing trend appears. Temperatures plummet 5-15 degrees in most areas, we fall closer to average. Expect 60s, 70s and 80s near the beaches and 90s inland. All alerts have been allowed to expire. Enjoy!

Saturday morning will show another round of clouds to start and a quick clearing trend. Onshore flow is reestablished and we cool even further. Winds and waves remain calm. It will be a great afternoon for lunch outside or a picnic!

Minimal change into Sunday. Our next weather shift begins Monday as temperatures slowly creep up once again. Many inland areas rise back to 90s while beaches hold a few degrees above average. Marine clouds will do a good job of shielding coastal communites from the next round of heat.
