Above average Thursday & Friday, tracking weekend rain chanes

Minimal marine layer influence or fog is expected Thursday. Offshore flow is abundant, which is preventing low clouds from forming. Clear skies along with winds and a small high pressure ride will warm temperatures dramatically. Expect 70s and some areas close to 80s. Perfect beach afternoon! Make sure to wear sunscreen as Uv index will be high! Marine waters are around seasonal temperatures and waves will be small. Overnights drops into the 40s and 50s.

Clear skies and peak heating is expected Friday! We rise another 5-8 degrees from days prior. Most areas will be 10-15 degrees above average. The warming trend will be quick, so by 9am you'll likely be able to shed off extra layers. Winds will be breezy at times, expect a 10-15mpg push along with decent gusts. Head to the pool or the beach and enjoy a taste of summer.

Sea breeze and marine clouds return over the weekend. This will dramatically cool the area off, expect a 5-8 degree drop. Stubborn clouds will cause max temperatures to rise into the 60s. Rain chances begin Sunday night into Monday. Timing and details are in the works, impacts will be minimal. Most areas will likely receive close to a tenth of an inch.
