San Marcos blanks Santa Barbara in both girls and boys soccer

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - San Marcos soccer recorded clean sheets in both boys and girls action against rival Santa Barbara.

The Royals boys team got a goal in the 78th minute by Jose Ramirez to edge Santa Barbara 1-0.

It was the Dons first Channel League loss on the year(4-1-1) while the Royals improved to 3-1-2 in league.

After a scoreless first half in the girls game, the Royals won 2-0 on second half goals by Zeina Matni and Alexis Fell.
