Warmer Friday, weekend heat wave

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Temperatures rise Friday with some increased cloud coverage.

Temperatures jump into the 90s over the weekend as skies clear.

Minimal cooling will follow next week.

An extreme heat warning will be in effect Friday through Thursday for parts of Santa Barbara County and Ventura County.

A Heat Advisory has been issued for north county and SLO County for Saturday through Sunday with 80 to over 100 degree temperatures possible.

The heat will likely last through the 2nd week of October.
