Warming ahead, Monday Sept 28th forecast

Aside from a very patchy and light morning marine layer and mid and upper level tropical clouds, it was a beautiful end to the last Sunday of September. Look for mostly clear skies through the evening with just patchy fog possible. Overnight lows will be in the 50's and 60's. A low pressure system will continue to push inland to our north and this will create a moderate northerly flow with a few pockets of gusty wind, especially near the Gaviota region of Point Conception.

We will continue to see the effects of Hurricanes Odalys and Polo in the ocean and in our atmosphere. Surf will stay up from not only those two tropical systems, but also from systems to our west and north. A High Surf Advisory is in effect through Tuesday for most of Southern California including Ventura County along south facing beaches.  Rain chances to our south will continue from the effects of Odalys and Polo, but we should stay dry. The northerly flow developing will start to turn up the temperature as we head through much of next week.
