Tracking lingering rain & rip currents Monday

We begin the morning with a few clouds and a quick clearing trend along with a warming trend. Highs rise into the 70s and 80s. Humidity lingers for most as our tropical storm departs and weakens. Lingering coastal flood impacts are expected and High Surf lasts through Tuesday evening.

We begin Tuesday with some dense fog and clouds. Many areas will see rising temperatures and the entire coverage zone will warm above average. Hold off going to the beach just one more day! Rain chances hold at 20% for most through Tuesday evening and we may see some pop up showers.

Peak heating occurs Wednesday and Thursday as 90s appear back in the forecast. Humidity will be a large factor into the feels-like temperatures making the heat worse. Heat alerts will likely be in place. This is a short lived wave of heat as we begin to decline Friday into the weekend.
