Heat lingers Saturday, cooling Sunday

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Heat will linger in some areas Saturday with widespread cooling by Sunday.

Heat advisories are extended for the south coast and Ventura County through Saturday 8pm.

A wind advisory is also issued for the southwestern coast.

Most of our region will drop into the 60s and 70s by Monday with normal or below normal temperatures to finish August.

There are some slight rain chances possible for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, at 20 percent.

Temperatures will get warmer late next week but stay in the 70s with high humidity possible once again.
