Extreme Heat Warning Tuesday, Fire Weather Watch & heatwave

KEYT

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. - Tuesday will be more sunny and less humid as we clear from monsoonal moisture and rain chances, heading into a period of very strong heat this week.

Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week, 90 to 110 degree temperatures possible across the region and offshore winds.

Warm north winds and gusty sundowners are expected by midweek as well.

An extreme heat warning and heat advisories are effect for our area through Thursday.

A fire weather watch is also in effect for parts of Santa Barbara County until Thursday morning.

Heat relief and clouds will return over the weekend, cooling back into the 70s, with another chance of some eastern pacific moisture.
