Sunday Evening Forecast Dec 18th

Despite a chilly start, it was another very beautiful day with mild temperatures across the region. Look for another chilly night with even some light frost possible in the coolest inland areas. A Frost Advisory is in effect for portions of Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties for early Monday. Things will warm slowly in to Monday afternoon with highs topping out in the upper 50's to mid 60's with light winds. Clouds will approach the region by Monday evening as a storm rolls in to extreme Northern California.

Looking ahead, high pressure will keep the next storm to our north with just more clouds expected through Tuesday. Temperatures will stay on the cool to mild side as we approach mid week and the official start of Winter. Sunshine and gradual warming is expected for the second half of the work week with no threats for rain. In fact, we should stay dry in to next weekend, which is Christmas. Temperatures for the holiday could even be on the warm side with many areas topping out in the low 70's.
