Tuesday morning forecast May 25th

Temperatures are above average Tuesday. The coast will be in the 70s and interior areas in the 80s.

Conditions are cooling slightly as an upper low approaches the West Coast. The trough will move overhead by Wednesday, significantly cooling temperatures. 

Gusty winds will pick up again Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. The strongest winds will be west of the airport. A wind advisory starts on the South Coast and Santa Barbara County mountains at 6:00 pm and lasts until 3:00 am Wednesday with gusts up to 50 mph.

The marine layer will increase with strong onshore flow Wednesday, and stay May Gray through the weekend. Temperatures will move below normal with the coolest temperatures on Sunday as the low moves over Southern California.
