Saturday evening forecast – October 10th

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - We're seeing one final day of pleasant fall-like temperatures, with highs near or even slightly below average for this time of year. Mostly cloudy skies covered the Central Coast on Saturday, with most daytime highs reaching the low to upper-70s.

On Sunday we begin to see a warming trend that will last through the week. After another morning of marine layer, we're expecting better clearing and more sunshine. Highs will reach the upper-70s along the coasts and low to mid-80s inland.

On Monday we'll really start to feel the heat with highs jumping well above average, with the very warm to hot weather lasting through at least mid-week. Even coastal areas could see highs in the 90s. Winds will also pick up beginning Monday. Temperatures will finally start to cool down again heading into next weekend.
