Thursday evening forecast – Feb. 6th

Dry weather is expected through Saturday, but night through morning low clouds and fog will return to coastal areas beginning Thursday night. Slight warming is expected through Friday, with little change Saturday. Low pressure will bring a chance of rain and mountain snow, mainly to areas south of Point Conception Sunday into Monday.

Due to a ridge of high pressure building over Southern California temps will warm through Saturday. This will also allow for an increase in cloud coverage and some areas of patchy fog along the Central and South coast. Conditions will likely be above average for Friday and Saturday with partly cloudy skies. So expect highs climbing from the mid 60s to right around 70 degrees.

The next system arrives on Sunday with a chance for rain and snow over our mountain areas. We'll be tracking the latest at the First Alert Weather Center.
