Saturday evening forecast Nov 30th

KEYT

Another cold and rainy day as moisture continues to stream onshore from the Pacific ocean. We will see more showers through tonight and in to Sunday, especially the farther north you go. Rain totals should remain light to moderate with most areas seeing around a quarter to half an inch. However, in portions of northern San Luis Obispo, totals could exceed 2 to 3 inches. More rain is also in the forecast!
A broad area of low pressure has set up shop just to our west and this has opened the door to waves of Pacific moisture. Southerlwinds will also help to push in more relatively warmer and wetter air from the south which will enhance the rain potential. Meanwhile, snow levels will rise and help all of with a little less chill in the air!
Looking ahead, for Sunday we will see more rain and showers with southerly winds and even low end Wind Advisory. Monday could still be a little wet for our northern areas, otherwise dry and cool. Tuesday and Thursday we expect to see another round of rain and wind. We should dry out a little for Thursday and stay cool and breezy. But, guess what? Yes, another system is shaping up for next weekend. Details will change daily and it's a good idea to keep checking the forecast for day to day changes. Depsite this, get ready for cool and unsettled weather next week!
