First Alert Weather Forecast Summary

Most parts of the California Central Coast and South Coast had a minor cooling of high temperatures this afternoon, but it was still well above average. Offshore flow will continue tonight, tomorrow and Friday leading to more heat. Heat Advisories are in effect Thursday and Friday. Lows tonight under a clear sky will range from the upper 40s inland to coastal 60s.
A strong ridge of high pressure will center itself over California Thursday and Friday, leading to unseasonably hot weather and more fire danger. We can expect a cooling trend to begin this weekend with temperatures falling 10 to 20 degrees, and our weather will become more seasonable for the final week of October with a few clouds and milder highs for everyone.
Overnight lows will begin mild but will cool for everyone through next week. Lows will range from the 40s to the 60s this week, cooling to the 30s and 40s by the middle of next week. Highs will begin hot and become much milder. Coasts: Cooling from the 80s and 90s this week to the mid and upper 60s next week. Valleys: 90s now cooling to the 70s and 80s next week.
