Thursday morning forecast – February 6th

A chilly start into Thursday for the interior valleys with a Frost Advisory in effect for San Luis Obispo and Ventura County. Overnight lows for valleys could drop down to 31 degrees leading to a brisk Thursday morning and slightly warmer afternoon. With daytime highs along the coast and valleys primarily in the mid to upper 60s.

Due to a ridge of high pressure building over Southern California temps will warm through Saturday. This will also allow for an increase in cloud coverage and some areas of patchy fog along the Central and South coast. Conditions will likely be above average for Friday and Saturday with partly cloudy skies.

The next system arrives on Sunday with a chance for rain and snow over our mountain areas. We'll be tracking the latest at the First Alert Weather Center.
