Thursday morning forecast – Jan. 9th

A low pressure system arrives for Thursday with a chance for rain showers, gusty winds and cooler temps. San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County could see a chance for light rain with snow for the grapevine. Seasonal temps are expected with the coasts and valleys primarily in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Gusty north winds continue with a Wind Advisory in effect for Santa Barbara County until Friday morning. Breezy and gusty north wind will make driving difficult near Gaviota especially for high profile cars.

The next chance for rain will be Saturday into Sunday and this will mainly be over our mountain areas. Temperatures will cool to the lower 60s along the coasts and valleys for the weekend.
