The first Friday of 2020 will bring sunshine and warm temperatures for the Central and South Coast. As a ridge of high pressure continues along Southern California the region will remain dry with slightly warmer temps. Daytime highs along the coast and valleys will reach upper 60s to low 70s.

An increase in low clouds and fog will build for Saturday morning with partly to mostly cloudy skies. As the ridge of high pressure breaks temps will begin to cool down with mild conditions through the weekend.

Another round of strong and gusty winds is expected from Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. This will impact Santa Barbara and Ventura County mountains. With north to northeast winds ranging from 25-40 mph with gusts 65 mph.
